Saint Louis Tower Grove Park Tour is a 3.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near St. Louis, Missouri that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
A nice easy walk through a beautiful park with a slight incline and many connecting paths for alternate route options. Accessibility: There is not a parking lot at the start of this route but there is street parking in this park. The trail surface is paved, typically at least six feet wide, and has an estimated grade of 5% or less so is mostly gentle for wheelchair and stroller users.
Nice park and the foliage right now is beautiful. Sidewalks are in bad shape in parts because of roots growing underneath. Gotta watch your step in places, trip trap.
This is not a trail, but rather a city park. Is a great place just to walk at your own pace and to go as far or as little as you'd like.
The park is beautiful but this trail is maddening to follow. Impossible to stay on course without constantly staring at your phone which kind of misses the point. Will return to the park again and again—will never use this route again
Beautiful park and ride. Kids liked it and I loved it. Saw a great diversity of people and sights along the way. We started out on the bike path and then took advantage of the closed road. There are a couple inclines but it's an easy ride for the most part. It was a little busy near the pavilion but was less crowded everywhere else. Kids are 6, 8, 12 and 15. All enjoyed it but said it was too easy.
1 lap = 5k 2 lap = 10k The loop road on the east side of the park is open to traffic, the west loop is not.
Watch the path there are so many connecting paths...we actually chopped a piece off without noticing. Otherwise it’s pretty good. Happy Trails!
Due to the pandemic, they have closed the park to vehicles. Just park on Magnolia or Arsenal and walk in. It gives everyone a chance to spread out and walk or ride bikes on any path or road without worrying about cars. This is especially nice at the center section at the end of Tower Grove Avenue where on a busy day there is a steady stream of traffic cutting through the park. You should take advantage of this while it's still in force.
Took pictures here for my party 3 years ago, so beautiful, full of flowers, plants, and trees so there’s plenty of shade. Come here often to walk my dog. 10/10 would recommend.
This paved trail in Tilles Park in south St. Louis, Missouri, this trail is very dog friendly but you need to keep them on a leash at all time, if you take them without a leash it’ll be a $100 fine, there is a garden in the middle of the trail with really nice plants, and around the end of the trail it goes down a hill.
