Rocky Falls Shut-in Trail folllows the west bank of Rocky Creek to base of a 40 ft. tall cascade of brown, pink, and purple igneous rock. From there one can carefully climb the rock face to the top of the falls and explore the scenic area. The pool at the base of the falls is a nice swimming hole.

Quick out and back walk to look at a waterfall that consists of rocks 1.5 billion years old. That’s old!

Nice area. Pretty fascinating when you look at it from
above. You park where it is. Not exactly a Wilderness Area, but a nice easy approach like this is nice at times and for some people.

Very short trail with a beautiful waterfall. We visited in the fall so there wasn't much water flowing. Fun to climb up to the top of the waterfall. There is an old mill located about 3 miles from here. Instead of turning off of Hwy NN keep going for about 3 miles past the rocky falls sign and you will see a sign for the mill down a dirt road, you can see the mill from this dirt road.

Scenic drive through the country. Nice view from the top of the rocks. Very cold water. My new favorite swimming hole.

Waterfalls/cascades are rare in the state. This is a nice one. Not much of a hike, but nice swim hole in the summer, nice picnic area. This is a short spur on the Ozark trail also. Nice area to bushwack for more of an adventure.
