Not a loop. Route indicated was part of the Fulbright Greenway so it was an in and out through section through the park. Paved trail and gravel road. Park is next to a shooting range so gunshots could possibly be heard but nothing to be alarmed about.

while visiting Springfield MO, me and my dogs decided to try this park. this was our second stop of the day so my female dog was struggling a bit. but of the short time we stayed we really enjoyed it. there was a small creek which both of my dogs got wet in. so many different directions you could venture. definitely would like to explore more of this park next time we visit Springfield MO

Trail was fine but people suck. Mower was running on the dry grass, dirt, and gravel road, kicking up a crazy amount of dust so had to use my shirt to cover my mouth and nose. One family crowded on the bridge at the dam for 10 minutes... I tried to wait them out as to not pass within a foot of strangers (because Covid) and they never moved. Had to walk past them with my shirt over my face. One guy fishing 100feet from the no fishing sign.

Great trail, and super pretty in the fall too! A fun little pond/creek to see as well as a good little elevation gain at the end. We will definitely come back!

very nice hike with a great trail head and pavilion area. Mild elevations and good for beginners. It can be crowded at times.

The park is well maintained. The first half of the trail is paved and shaded most of the way. The second half of the trail is not clearly marked and overgrown. Not really sure why this is showing it’s a loop because it’s an out and back.

This is a beautiful area. The grounds were well-maintained and had some pretty scenery. If you’re looking to follow the map for this trail.... good luck. Nothing was marked. Couldn’t Figure out how to get to the second half. We ended up in a private driveway. Had to turn back and go the way we came.

trail was nice but we never found the second half of the loop. we got to the top of the hill and that was it so we just turned around and went back. not bad trail, was just a little disappointed at some of the marking and the fact that the loop doesn't seem to exist.

Trip with Mom and the nuclear fam. A bit of a nondescript trail at first... until it opened up to a lake and the Sac River. Lovely views along the banks. Nice playground at the trailhead.

Honestly thought this was going to be a dud, there’s about a quarter mile walk down a wide gravel road to get to the creeks and trails. But once you get to the lake it’s truly a hidden gem lots of areas to walk around and beautiful views!
