Pershing State Park Campground is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Laclede, Missouri that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, camping, and birding and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Pershing SP for fee campgrounds has full service RV sites to group primitive campgrounds. Wander through a slice of pre-settlement landscape at Pershing State Park. The park includes a boardwalk and hiking trail that winds through a wet prairie near a meandering stream with oxbow sloughs and cutoffs, and into a bottomland forest. The parks wetlands attract a variety of birds and waterfowl as well as scores of other wildlife species. Locust Creek and four small lakes give anglers a chance to try their skills and a shady campground with electric and basic campsites makes the park an ideal overnight location.

For Missour, this is a nice state park and campgrounds with hiking and other activities. One of Missouri's few remaining covered bridges is is just a couple miles away Locust Creek Covered bridges.
