A nice loop on chat and natural surface. Two small foot bridges over streams. Trail loops around the fishing pond. The pond has two fishing docks (catch and release for 15 years and younger only). Parking at trailhead. Nice FISH art work placed by NEAT (Nature Educational art Trail) by the parking lot. Area is "below" the Stockton Lake Dam. There are also baseball fields and other roads to walk or bike with almost zero traffic. More is planned for the trailhead area over the next year.
Nice trail to walk with views of the pond all the way around. There are some pretty massive trees too and several nests of cranes. Fairly flat terrain except for one short, steep incline/decline.
Great little trail all year round for all ages. Even if you don't fish, nice place to be.
In addition to the trail, there are baseball fields and almost zero traffic roads to hike, bike or drive on.
Great place for adults and families!!
