Trailhead is in the visitor center parking lot. If you go right at the fork you will start by following a small creek, climb which was full of birds and deer sign. Saw several small caves and small bluffs. Nice trail, easy hike.

This forested loop trail is a stop on the Great Missouri Birding Trail. The trail initially runs along a small stream and eventually by three caves. The caves are closed due to White Nose Syndrome. The trail also passes by a small glade. Even though the caves were closed, it was nice to stand in front of the entrance to each cave and feel the cool air on a hot day.
