MKT Trail is a 9.3 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Columbia, Missouri that offers scenic views. The trail is good for all skill levels offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The MKT Nature and Fitness Trail connects the Katy Trail to the heart of Columbia. This scenic 9 mile trail takes riders through wetlands and wooded areas. The MKT Trail links to the Katy Trail at mile 169.9, just west of McBaine.
Great trail. Well maintained. Busy close to MU. Lots of spur trails.
Starts in Downtown Columbia at Flat Branch Park and winds its way south to connect to the Katy Trail, linking just west of the McBaine Trailhead. A fun and flat ride that winds through grasslands, prairies, and over several bridges that cross multiple creeks. There are multiple entry points along the way, and a dog park with a pond.
