Missouri River Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Weston, Missouri that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The short trail offers a short walk to a view of the Missouri River. The trail is accessed by crossing the Weston Bluffs Trail and the Burlington Northern Railway tracks. The trail ends at the river, with drop-offs along the way. The trail is in the floodplain and a good example of second-growth bottomland forest. A variety of wildlife is commonly seen, including migratory songbirds. The trail is natural surface, with occasional stones and tree roots. The area is subject to standing water in the roadway as well as occasional flood events.

Pretty muddy but it had just rained a lot. Really easy and a good view of the river! My 3 year old really enjoyed himself!

08/31/2019. Still muddy and rough from the floods. The main section seems cleared. You can get to the river, but not much trail left once you get to the river.
