we were disappointed in this trail. nowhere to park. the trail was wide, muddy, and weedy.

Be aware they allow hunting at this park so read the signs and know when it is safe to hike

Not what I expected. Good if you want to climb a hill.

Great quiet little trail. If you are a runner and want to work on some hill training this trail would be perfect for just that! If you are going with little you must have a stroller with bike tires or have them strapped on with a pack.

Hope you got your camping gear handy because you may not be able to complete this trail in one outing. Bear spray is a must. If you're one who gets winded on high elevation hikes than this isn't for you. We lost 2 of our group to a heavy parana population just south of the Cabin Trail, be careful and godspeed.

This trail is a rock/mulch trail that is not very long or difficult. Adequate signage and a portapotty.

Not a bad hike - not very long - signage is poor to non existent- when you first head in the trail splits at the area where you see some red gates - if you go that way you will see the cabin and a lake but the trail basically ends there and you will need to turn around and head back up the other way - once you are on the loop part of the trail there are a few side trails that you can take - one goes to the creek and another to a lake - both are worth seeing especially the lake, but again they both dead end and you will need to backtrack to get back to the loop

ok so first off this isnt 2.1 miles. the actual loop itself is just over a mile. also there are no signs on trail. When u get to the bottom by the creek make sure u go right if u go left which seems like the way the trail is u will run into a dead end taking the right puts you on the loop. also the cabin u see in the pics it's at the beginong of the trail, you will see a red gate off to the left that takes you to the cabin right on the other side of the pond. Parking for this hike is across from the nursing home. The trail starts at the corner of the road.
