Not a bad hike - not very long - signage is poor to non existent- when you first head in the trail splits at the area where you see some red gates - if you go that way you will see the cabin and a lake but the trail basically ends there and you will need to turn around and head back up the other way - once you are on the loop part of the trail there are a few side trails that you can take - one goes to the creek and another to a lake - both are worth seeing especially the lake, but again they both dead end and you will need to backtrack to get back to the loop

ok so first off this isnt 2.1 miles. the actual loop itself is just over a mile. also there are no signs on trail. When u get to the bottom by the creek make sure u go right if u go left which seems like the way the trail is u will run into a dead end taking the right puts you on the loop. also the cabin u see in the pics it's at the beginong of the trail, you will see a red gate off to the left that takes you to the cabin right on the other side of the pond. Parking for this hike is across from the nursing home. The trail starts at the corner of the road.
