Nice flat paved trail along the river. It passes through a couple of parks. I think it'd be great for a family hike with young kids with a couple of built-in playground breaks.
I love this path. It is the friendliest path I have ever run or rode! Every person you pass says hello or smiles! And, despite mother nature, the park dept does an excellent job of keeping it usable! Just wish they had more water fountains.
great views. great for all ages

Super easy paved trail. Great for walking or bike riding. Has both a lot of sun and shade. Great views of the river as well. It splits off letting you choose the distance which is great!
Nice, paved and level. Great for adding pace to your walking workout.
Easy paved trail that starts in Valley Park and runs along the Meramec river then splits and goes to Spring Park or Greentree park.
Beautiful and peaceful
Has potential to be great, but trail still covered with muck and sand from flood making it impossible to blike.
Easy paved trail with very nice joggers and bikers. Went on Saturday and was not crowded. Also looks like a cool fishing spot as well
Well-maintained with good river views. There's a great water station about .5 mile from the trailhead that includes a dog waterer. However, overall it's too flat for my liking. Probably better for bikers.
Great flat paved trail along the river. You can make it a total of 6 miles of you add the Simpson lake trail to it. There is enough activity and open space that you feel safe. Enjoy!
