Easy, loop trail. Great for walking or running. It’s a clear, paved path, so it’s easy to stay on track!

This trail has been recently repaved Very smooth and wide. You feel further away from the city than you really are. Low traffic also. Hidden jem.

Nicely paved hilly loop in the woods. Lots of shade, and the trail is wide and away from any brush or over-growth. Great stop to walk dogs on a road trip just off I-55.

Nicest part of the wooded trail behind Cape Girardeau’s Conservation center. Trail is newer asphalt and wooden bridges are in good shape. A lot of significant elevation changes for its short distance. Had connector to Cape LaCroix and the rest of the conservation trail. Great cardio workout. The only negative is that the trail is not wheelchair accessible.

Nice paved trail, ideal for walking pets as it’s pretty wide and you don’t have to worry about ticks as much as on a narrow trail. We spotted a family of deer so that was nice!

Paved and, most importantly, pet friendly! I walk my pup here regular.

It loops. A few creeks you go over. It's paved and easy. Scenic. You can see a lot of birds and deer

This is a shorter hike and the description "a paved trail with steep ups and downs" is accurate. You will have to be prepared to climb some small hills and you will also run into a small set of stairs on the trail. The trail is mostly paved, which is nice. It is only a short distance from the Cape Girardeau Nature Center -- you could park in the parking lot and take a stroller to the trail. Just remember if you use a stroller that there will be lots of hills -- this didn't stop us, but could be an issue for some. Good way to end a Nature Center trip!
