Nice and easy ride. There weren’t many other people on the trail but it was raining cats and dogs! I will be back to start at a trail head that is north of where I started this time... when it’s not raining

Scenic, gravel-packed trail along the Little Blue River and through woods, wetlands, and farmland. Can be biked or easily walked.

Well maintained out and back suitable for any kind of bike. We took our road bikes out there today and had no problems on the gravel. You’re not in the sun the entire time which is nice, plenty of shade. Still, make sure you’ve got plenty of sunscreen. Took us 2.5 hours- started from the northern point.

Totally love this trail! Well kept! Enjoy a comfortable ride taking in nature! Recommend for families. Can be moderately populated in a stretch by the playground. Activities observed: running, walking, biking, bird watching and fishing. Along the trail are natural and historical points of interest, wildflowers, grass lands, flowering trees, river, farm land and very scenic views. There are 3 shelter houses; multiple picnic tables and benches throughout the trail, also several emergency call stations. There are 6 or 7 parking trailheads to access along the trails 15.6 miles. The trail is a combination of pea gravel and pavement. Can be muddy in a few spots after moderate rain but overall just damp.

Great trail! Only one muddy spot under a bridge. This trail has great views of water and woods. There are some picnic benches. The trail is well marked with miles markers. Also there are many spots to start at with parking. Never had any problems with security issues. Usually not crowded and the families and individuals encountered have been really friendly. Good job Jackson County!

Parked Saturday 11/16 mid afternoon at the Phelps trailhead. While gone some crackhead tried to remove my catalytic converter. Great trail but not worth a trip to the mechanic
