Very neat trail that ends at the river. Nice and wide and covered in gravel except for the last 100 yards or so which can flood if the river is high.

I happened upon this short (approx. 1 mile) trail after hiking other parts of Arrow Rock. I was absolutely delighted to end up at the Mighty Missouri River! The trail is wide and flat and very pretty. Seeing the River was a bonus. I'll definitely return.

I really enjoyed the wooded trail, which was more rugged than I expected. But the big payoff was the trail that led to the river, with a big, sandy bank. No one around, and a beautiful day to sit on the riverbank and watch the current move.

Simple walk to the river. Not a destination hike, but worth stretching your legs while visiting Arrow Rock.

A trip to Arrow Rock is for the visit to the State Visitor Center and Historic town tours. Trails are simple bike/hike trails from State park to the visitor center and town. It makes a pleasant visit to do a bike tour, though most people walk, and you can drive to any of the sites. Their is a small river bluff trail. It is a nice weekend trip for sight seeing not hiking.
