Loved the trail. It’s well marked and is well taken care of. All this trail needs is a porter potty.

Nice trail. No ticks. Lots of shade!

Dog friendly. don't go after rain or else it'll be muddy. people have always been friendly

Great trail, scenic overlooks were nice. There were tons of cars in the parking lot but the trail wasn’t as busy as we were expecting which was nice! Dog friendly

Very Muddy and has not rained in a while. The trail was easy to follow but the lookout points were non existent since those areas were so overgrown... you could not really see much of anything. Peaceful, though. Lots of ticks (so check your pup!). A couple of nice areas to pull over and see a little stream that the dog took a cold bath in. Pretty easy trail. One or two sections that are a steep hike up but doable. There were kids on the trail doing just fine. All shaded.

Beautiful trail, but can definitely get muddy! We were able to walk around the worst bits no problem. A couple beautiful views of the Missouri River.

Shaded and nice views along the way. Muddy during Memorial Day weekend

The Clark Trail has some nice overlooks above the Missouri River but to rate it any higher than a 2 would be doing a disservice to the other trails in the St. Louis region. The muddy trail condition is the primary reason I say this.

Great scenic trail! Perfect trail for trail runners and anyone who wants to expand their hiking to longer trails. Beautiful views of the river and a great place for birdwatching. I think it would be neat if the little trails off the main trail were marked for those who like to explore and not miss any views.

Another great morning on the trail!

Great trail! Watch out for the stinging nettle! Also a really cool section were Lewis and Clark splits is a spot where everyone signs a rock and leaves it, so bring a sharpie!

Once we started we opted for the Clark at 5.2 instead of the Lewis at 8.3 due to persistent mud and muck. great trail, forest setting, river views, creek crossings, and some good inclines on rock path (only part that's not muddy) that can be a good workout. Will def return to do both this one and the longer route...after a dry spell!

Great trail. The loop is long enough that, even if the lot is full, you're not going to run into people very often. it's a moderate workout, with plenty of shade throughout, and a few spots of rapid elevation gain and rocky conditions. If you want a scenic view and a mild walk, start by going south, as that will take you directly to the bluffs overlook.

Nice trail, easy to follow and well marked, pretty views, didn't run into too many people so even though the lot was full its a long enough trail you won't see too many. Dogs did pick up some ticks but that's to be expected. Was muddy in some places and hasn't rained in a while I could see it getting very muddy and slushy after rain.
