Very pretty hike. Meadows, pineforest, creeks, remnants of old abandoned cabins, small ponds. Good stuff.

Quiet and peaceful hike through the woods and across dry creek beds. The path shown on the map is a combination of the LaBarque Hills Trail and the Taconic Loop Trail according to the Dept of Conservation information provided at the trail head. Distance of 8 miles is overstated. The trails are well maintained and signage is good.

Great trail! Goes from beautiful oak hickory forest to bedrock glades with solid bedrock streams.

The trail was fairly easy , great on the feet. Nice wide path, loved crossing the stream numerous times, the best part is not hearing traffic !!

Not sure what trail we took, but was a beautiful hike. Great day and beautiful scenery. They sure did thin out woods. Will be back!
