Very easy to follow. There is a map at the beginning, showing different paths and their distances. This trail acts as a memorial to retired and fallen Kansas City Police Officers and offers a view of the training academy.

This trail is maintained well. Trail is mulch. This trail connects to Pleasant Valley park and trail there is peat gravel. Tons of wildlife!
