Indian Camp Creek Park Loop is a 6.9 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Flinthill, Missouri that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Multiple trails at this rural county park for hikers, horses and motorized.
Annoyingly muddy in spots- boots got very heavy with mud at times. But I didn’t see one other person out there the whole time. :) I also couldn’t find the “Christmas tree” part of the trail, south of the “peninsula”. The Cannon Loop trail crosses the road before you get there. My guess is that AllTrails is wrong.
Great hike that shows off all the park has to offer. Just a bit muddy today.
Varied: prairie, hardwood forest, tall pine forest (boughs creaking in the breeze!) and short pine forest (so fragrant!). Comfortable packed dirt trail with only gentle inclines. Stay on the Cannon Trail, which is marked here and there. Keep your app open to navigate forks. I kept losing the trail when it crossed the road, especially (going counter clockwise) where the “peninsula” shaped part of the trail transitions into the Christmas tree shaped part of the trail. Gorgeous well maintained park.
Awesome... except for having to dodge all the horse crap! Pick up your poo peeps!!!
Trail was great. Two hikers, two cyclists, one deer! Mild December weather.
Great weather. The trail was in good shape and easy on the feet. I saw hikers, cyclists, and a couple of horses. If you have never been here, there are a few benches scattered on the hike, easy access to some bathrooms as well. I think the trail is easy to follow except for one of two minor spots.
Very easy trail. Sometimes in the woods, sometimes walking thru fields. We only saw 1 other couple walking, a couple of bike riders, and 1 horse rider. Not much in the way of hills or interesting sites but we appreciated that it was a decent length. So many trails are so short. Saw a deer, turtle, snake and lots of squirrels
Fun trail... well maintained... the map is a bit off around the camp ground area, but not hard to figure out.
First time on this trail. Well maintained and marked. Easy on the feet. I appreciate a few benches scattered throughout the trail. I saw four bikes, two horses, and one hiker on a wonderful fall afternoon. Plenty of parking and maintained bathrooms. I hope to get here once a month. Lastly, seeing Sasquatch was a pleasant surprise. :-)
Trail was in great shape and not too busy for a holiday weekend. Will definitely be back
Just like a mullet. Easy up front (north side of road), gnarly on the back half (south side of road). Didn’t stop app so it shows car driving as well. Oops!
Good trail! We brought our pup and she loved it. This will be a go to for us
