Great hike, some parts not marked well, but windy enough you’ll always pop out onto another trail that is marked.
A meager 4 stars. Finished right at 10 miles with 404 ft elevation gain. Beautiful trail full of varied terrain. Nothing impassable. Do yourself a favor and hike this after a few days of rain - not a soul anywhere today. Clean trail. Great hike if you are looking for some mileage but not too much elevation gain. #hikinghonkeyoninstagram
Nice trails, but signage could be better. Two different times I ended up off trail and when I backtracked and found my mistake there was no signage indicating that I should change trails at that point.
Love this trail. We took our dog, some spots are a little narrow, but we make it work. Nice views and different paths to take. We see bikers and other walkers/hikers but everyone is very polite. We will be back!
6.3 mi / loop&wander / moderate 285 ft elevation gain Features: Wildflowers, creek, pond Took the trail in the beginning couple of miles and then ventured on my own off the path. It was pretty warm outside so I decided to cut it down to a little over six miles. Trail is primarily for mountain bikers but it's in great shape for hiking. Beautiful creek views and a great dose of nature. #HH Instagram: Hiking Honkey
It was a very weird trail. You felt like you were in a cornfield and then some trail and then you were on the road very strange I got confusing trying to follow the map. I’m not going to come back. 7.2 miles
Windy today. Trail was dry with sections with branches over. Stayed down on the flats. My daughters first trail ride.
Nice trail. The portion of the trail that runs near Big Creek was my favorite. Recent flooding gave the area a very unique look and feel. There's several creek crossings. I look forward to returning to the trail once everything greens up. It is near civilization though so you cross the road a couple times and encounter a house or two along the way. But, all in all a pleasant hike I enjoyed and will return to the area. Looks like the township is putting some money into the park for additional trails and parking.
