Enjoyable hike with good markings and elevation changes without the crowds of some other nearby trails.

Every bit of 4 stars. This is the third time hiking this trail. Great views, mainly dirt but rocky terrain at times. They keep this trail very clean also. Decent amount of elevation gain, but nothing too bad. Get here early and avoid the other humans! #hikinghonkeyOnInstagram

Beautiful. First time recording. Nice to know the distance. This was the first time I did the hike with most of the leaves down. It is interesting to see the roads, creeks, and trails around the area. Did a figure 8 loop. Great hike today

Outstanding trail.. well maintained, and not too crowded. Although a favorite for bikers, no trouble. My new favorite spot!

I’m not sure I would call this moderate and I feel like I really got punked when I took the trail marked “most difficult,” which turned out to be a shortcut back up the hill to the trailhead and not really difficult at all. However this was a lovely shaded trail and I haven’t found any ticks yet (please god let me not find any ticks...). A lot of cyclists on this trail.

Great dual use trail for hiking. Plenty of mountain bikers on weekends, but the trail is wide and the mountain bikers are easy to spot before they arrive. Trail could benefit from better signage, especially at a couple of places where the trail forks with no sign indicating which arm of the fork is the trail. My dogs especially loved the stream that crossed the trail near the halfway point and provided a great chance to cool-off in the water.

Very pretty and lots of different views from a field to dense forest. However, if you take all 3 loops it’s more like 9.5 miles than 8. There’s not a lot for steep climbs or hills, but would do again.

Great trail! Very scenic (no outlooks, but pretty surroundings) when it is light, not entirely terrifying when it’s dark. I made a furry friend on the trail as well.

Trail was in great shape considering all the rain we have had. Just a little muddy in places.

Well worth the trip out to this loop. The whole park is great with lots of changes to the trails.Never felt lost trail markers at all intersections if you know the trail you want no problem getting around.Another great morning on the trail!

Did the three trails loop clockwise. I wear and recommend long pants, use bug spray, take plenty of hydration and snacks. The Hayes section was a delight. Three mountain bikers and two hikers passed me during the entire hike. They were all very polite. I would love to see Mile Markers and possible a few benches like the Clark Trail. Look at the recordings and see that the last mile is a climb. I was really dragging and happy I took 5 16oz bottles of water. It got up to 94. Great Missouri trail.

Great trail, this is the second time I have hiked out here. I like that you rarely ever see anyone hiking here. Just an occasional mountain biker. Varied terrain, it starts out pretty flat. A few creek crossings but nothing difficult. Glad I didn't come out here any later, the ticks will be out very soon. I clocked in at 9 miles total, as i completed all three. The out and back is nice because there is an open prairie to walk through in route. Good ass kickin hills towards the end. Get out early enough and you will likely be alone! Instagram: Hiking Honkey

Good hike with nice views, and the best part was I saw no one! Lots of switchbacks and a little mud, great for my dog! The park says it was only 6.9 miles for all three trails.

Loved this trail, despite the fact that today it was a muddy, sloppy mess, it's not too difficult but has some rocky parts and a couple of small elevation gains. I extended the trail by doing the outside loop on the way back, well worth it.
