Grants Trail is a 9.7 mile heavily trafficked point-to-point trail located near St. Louis, Missouri that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
The Ulysses S. Grant Trail (Grant's Trail) is a "rails to trails" smooth, flat, point-to-point route from River des Peres to Kirkwood weaving through south and southwest St. Louis County, Missouri. It is perfect for biking, running, inline skating, walking, or cross-country skiing. Accessibility: The main trail is paved, smooth, and typically at least eight feet wide. The grade is mostly flat (estimated all under 5%). Most wheelchair and stroller users will likely find this trail navigable.

Great ride from my door step. Very windy today. Good workout.
I have not “hiked” this trail and don’t really think I would want to. Can find better places to hike. Would only hike this trail for exercise. However I have ridden it out and back several times on my gravel bike and do enjoy biking this trail. It does get a lot of foot traffic though from what I’ve seen the times I’ve ridden it.
