If you want a quick trail with some elevation. Very scenic only down side is it’s only a mile.

Great local trail. Not a destination hike. Best hiked clockwise. A couple creek crossings. A small wet weather waterfall. Signage sufficiently guides you.

Boy, did we get lost— multiple times! But everything we saw was absolutely beautiful and intriguing. I’ll definitely be going back after a good rain to see the waterfall when it’s doing more than trickling. My friend and I love hiking, but are admittedly not naturally outdoorsy. It’s not surprising that we got lost, considering our skill level and the condition of the trail. We couldn’t even find the trail in various places. But, thanks to GPS, we did find our way out to a residential road to pound the pavement back to the Boys and Girls Club. If you’re really good with directions and spotting where trails are, you’ll be fine. And if you’re not so great at it, like us, you should still be fine with GPS. We don’t regret our wrong turns, because we saw multiple places in the creek with water rushing through rocks— absolutely beautiful! Also saw a heron and a pileated woodpecker at one of our lost spots, down by Swan Creek. If you love moss and the sound of running water, you’ll love this place!

This is truly a hidden gem. A short little hike, crosses a creek a number of time. We went just after a little snow dust so it was hard to determine the direction of the trail at the bottom of the valley. Overall, it was fantastic.

A very nice, hidden gem of a trail. Trail is within the Conservation Area of the City of Forsyth. Trail has not been very well maintained in the last few years because of a lack of volunteer efforts. The City has indicated that they will make trail improvements if enough interest can be generated, so get out there and check this one out!

Parking is in Boys and Girls Club parking lot, which is behind the Forsyth High School football field.
