Nice St. Louis County Park located just east of Eureka off Lewis Road. Trails are well kept that run through woods up and down bluffs. The Chubb Trail trail head is also located in the park. 4 Miles of trails are located within the park. Part of the park's trail system connects to the Chubb Trails. Trails are well kept with plenty of room for hiking, mountain biking and horse back riding. Parts of the trail consist of dirt path, gravel covered and bed rock. You will experience a few elevation changes on the trails. Park has excellent facilities.

Some areas of mud even though it hasnt rained in almost a week. No problem with bugs. Short hike (my watch said 2.5 miles when the sign advertises around 3). Nice hills, overall a really enjoyable hike!! Close to the city too

We brought our dogs and there’s no signs saying no dogs and other people did too. Nice trails. don’t let it deter you by the misinformation!

A nice, secluded trail that is a great place to find some solitude.

No signs and nothing special

Made it to the river and came back due to flooding in late March. Trail was nice with some challenging hills. The trail is mostly well marked except for a few parts that could use some improvement.

NICE TRAIL ..NEEDS BETTER SIGNS TO LET YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AT, ALTHOUGH YOU CANT GET LOST..watch YOUR STEP ,LOTS OF ROCKS TREE ROOTS AND HIDDEN SMALL TREE STUMPS .ABOUT THE SIGNS THERE ARE SO MANY TRAILS GOING THIS WAY AND THAT ITS CONFUSING TO WHAT TRAIL YOU ARE ON.

It was a beautiful trail, but poorly and confusingly marked. Even using the map here on Alltrails, somehow I wound up only going 2.3 miles. I suspect I missed a turn somewhere. More flashes, like in the state parks, would be helpful--

Been 15yrs since last here and that was on a MTB. Still as rugged as I remembered. Good stuff though.

Easy to get to, challenging but not too hard, scenic, good elevation changes, well marked.

Love this hilly trail! You feel like you’re deep in nature the only downfall is that the highway is pretty close and it is noisy.

A nice hike that provides a few easy elevation changes and some nicew terrain. Had no problem following the trail, though they did add one switchback since this map was made. Saw a lot of mountain bikers who were all very friendly and considerate. No horses.

THIS is what I look for in a great 'hiking' trail! Lots of elevation changes, several different terrain types (rock, dirt and gravel). Nice wooded views and mostly shaded. The only thing I believe could've been better was the trail markings; a few times I had to get my phone out to see if we were still on the trail (or which direction to go at a fork).

Great trail...good mix of loose and packed rocks, gravel, roots, and limestone boulders; mostly shaded; some single track areas and a few decent hills. Would definitely run this next time. Only issue I had was nearby construction noise (the "beep beep" of equipment in reverse.)

Nice, short with slight elevation. Kept very clean and marked. It was a good starter for the "Summer of Hiking!"
