Knees felt great, good wind, bottom soles right foot starts to ache past the lookout point, but not real bad.

Ended up doing this one by mistake in an attempt to do the longer Chubb trail on a hike. Poorly marked trails. Lots of loose gravel. And if you bring your dog, be prepared for them to be covered in burs!

Great hike except for the constant sound of traffic mainly from the highway (Interstate 44). Lots of loose rock on this trail.

The trail was great, it was a lot of fun and had some twists and turns. Pay attention and stay on the trail.

Started out slow, legs heavy, and wind not so great, but after a half hour so fine. Shoes still feel great, knees did really well, still get some aggravation on the ball of my foot towards the end of the hike, but not near as bad as the previous height.

Not a bad little trail. I extended it to 4.5miles with 686 ft of elevation gain by following the orange trail after this one. Took Flint Quarry clockwise. Lots of trails branchning off to go get lost on, but I did not have the time for all that today. Good changes in terrain, quite rocky at times. Made me wish i would have brought my tall boots instead of the trail runners. #HikingHonkeyOnInstagram

Great hike, lungs were good, knees stayed strong. Ball of the right foot got a little agitated about 2/3 of the way in. Send to wane a bit towards the end of the hike.

Well-maintained, mostly gravel. Definitely have a map - some portions are a little confusing. Hiked on an August morning around 8:00 and had shade the entire time.

Loved that this trail made you feel like you were actually in the woods. Not clearly marked, however had no problems staying on the trail. Would def do again!

Definitely the best route through the park. Great time navigating the elevation changes and cutbacks through the woods. Be alert for cyclists as there isn’t always a lot of warning due to the tight curves and limited visibility. Trailhead was a bit confusing but the gps marker on AllTrails is accurate.

Ooh, keep your AllTrails map with you (freebie version)! Nice wooded hilly trail but as others have said, poorly marked. Clockwise from the Chubb trailhead worked well.

This was an excellent hike, although not overly well marked if you want to stay on the loop (that's why I have Alltrails). Very nice, challenging enough for novice hikers and good to take the puppy. Highly recommended.
