Not "easy" as the rating states. I hike a lot in St. Louis area, this trail is comparable to trails in Rockwood Reservation. A lot of up and downs, pretty trail, no huge vistas. Short, good workout if you push your pace or run.

Lots of ups and downs, well marked trail. Saw deer, birds, flowers and a lot of trees!

Don't make my mistake and take off on what looks like a trail. That dead ends at the utility cut. Take the new road to the right, the trail is down that road in less than 1/4 mile. Other than that, it is a very lovely wooded trail with some up and down.

Short enjoyable hike through some of Missouri's last old growth forest. Took my two kids (9 and 6) on Labor Day weekend and had a great time.
