Earthworks Trail is a 1.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Miami, Missouri that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Earthworks Trail leads to American Indian site Old Fort (Earthworks) and the Mound Field. The Old Fort, an irregular, double-ditched earthwork, was built by the ancestral Missouria Indians (Oneota). The Mound Field is made up of three burial mounds that belonged to the Woodland Indians. This trail winds through the Pinnacles and the wooded part of the Oumessourit Natural Area.
