Awesome Trail. Very well marked and maintained. Nice terrain and direction variety, some interconnecting trails provide opportunity for variety. Watch out for horse poop.

The hike was great but beware of CHIGGERS! We got annihilated by them! I’m assuming on the narrow path with brush on both sides.

All trails has it as a 7 mile hike and the parks website has it at 6.8. This trail is no shorter than 9 miles. The trail is nicely marked, and has varying terrain from very rugged to a smooth dirt path. No view point or place of interest, so don’t wait for it. But was a beautiful hike all in all, bug spray is a must.
