Columbia Bottom Trail is a 3 mile out and back trail located near West Alton, Missouri that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Nice large conservation area and is flat. In the summer you can see large sunflower patches along the roads which are nice to stop and take pictures

Loved the trail. Beware if you need shade. Parts of the trail go on for miles without shade. And if you follow the trail right next to the river, you'll walk the whole way in sand.
