Go to the University of Missouri in Columbia MO. One of the major streets is Rollins St. running east west across campus. Go to the intersection of College Ave and Rollins St. and head directly east until you reach the sign in the photo. It is down hill a ways, past the sewage pumping station and university research buildings. You can park in AV 9 parking lot in the evenings and on the weekends.

I would give a majority of this trail a 4/5 rating on trail maintenance. It's only when you reach some of the furthest trails from the Rollins st. Entrance where I give it a 2/5 for maintenance. This trail is 75% covered by gravel, not to mention there is numerous erosion control methods at work. Most vegetation is cut back for easy walking. There are 5-7 bridges for stream crossings and there are many Park benches for people to stop and rest along the trail. During the summer a lot of the forest undergrowth reminds me of an old grove forest. The trail is maintained by the University of Missouri School of Natural Resources student council.
