A series of short interconnected trails located behind the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center in Cape County Park that make a 1 mile outer loop. There are a few steep hills with one that is washed out otherwise moderately easy with a few benches to rest at. Forest views with a chance to walk across creeks and a wildlife watering hole. This outer loop connects to the Cape Girardeau Bike Trail on one end and the Maple Hollow Trail on the other end. A small part of the trail is paved and wheel chair accessible.

A get away within the city limits. A short hike with a a few steep cardio hills thrown in. Good place to see wildlife at certain times and an array of plant life. You can make the hike longer by connecting to the Maple Hollow trail or the Cape Bike Trail.
