What began as me attempting to blaze this trail today turned a nice leisurely hike taking time to stop and be in the moment. Of course having to cross a couple of creeks that were knee deep helped it become that way.

Great hike again. Water crossings are a little rough if you don’t have trekking poles or unless you don’t mind getting wet.

I really love the varying landscapes. it was neat being able to cross two different Rivers twice, however there was only one structured Crossing. the other three Crossings had to be done with Environmental use and nearly got us wet. the red portion of the loop had a lot of climbing at the start but was pretty and had a nice view of a large area at the top where we sat and had lunch. The yellow Loop was variable in both Terrain and tree cover. the blue loop is very Rocky and had some steep slopes. overall we enjoyed it very much though would recommend hard-soled shoes as our tennis shoes will likely leave us with bruises from the rocks. the whole Loop seem to be about five and a half miles and took us roughly three hours.
