Branson Area: Springfield to Branson, MO is a 69 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Branson, Missouri that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, fishing, and scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
Flat, figure 8 path. Good for running & good for Dogs. Frisbee course available too.
Tends to flood during high water.
I've drove this to many times.
The trail guide does not specify the route between the two towns. Highway 65, the main route from Springfield to Branson, Mo., which I have driven several times is uninspiring. However if you take state Hwy H., Located east of Hwy 65, which runs most of the way between the two cities. Allow for double the drive time because is wanders through Ozark hill country. This route has good fall color and quaint countryside.
