Beautiful trail, so many cool things to look at. Also gave us a little bit of a workout! My only complaint is that the trails were very poorly marked. We had a difficult time going exactly where we wanted to go!

Nice hike! The water fall was dry but it was still very enjoyable and lots of natural beauty.

Great trail and totally unexpected from the looks of the trail head! Rocky cliff side and lake side hike with great views of the lake! Steep sections.... but with caution totally doable with a packed baby.

Great place to hike. We went right at the bottom of the stairs and circled back to the top. Then back down and went left toward the waterfall and cave. Coming back up the stairs could be a challenge for some. Overall a great hiking experience.

Awesome trail with several caves. Trails are not very well marked however.

Great trail we went off and did the loop to the right at the bottom of the stairs....had a lot of spiderwebs and not the same trail but made our hike an extra 1.5 miles moderate and nice woody area

Fun trail! Way more strenuous that it appears too. Nice variations to see along the way- bluffs, lake views, rock formations. The waterfall was dry, but it was still fun to see. These trails all connect together too so you can do different portions of different ones.

Nice trail with some history. Cave is cool. A little overgrown but good condition overall. I’m sure use is down sue to covid 19. Would’ve enjoyed some more ridge top views and more lake views down by the water.

This hike can be a challenge with a heavy pack and trying to do the 338 stairs. The waterfall was dry today which was unfortunate but overall this is a very nice trail with some great views

Great Trail! The day before it rained so the trail was muddy, but there were plenty of ways to get around the mud in most location. If you’re clumsy I wouldn’t recommend this trail because it is very easy to misstep and fall. Lovely waterfalls and gorgeous to look at.

Very cool trail but in the rain very muddy and tough to stay on trail in spots. Definitely a good day for boots and the rain made the waterfall awesome! 340 stairs each way was a nice little add as well.

I love this trail a lot more in the spring! Today was the first time I’ve been here in spring. A lot of lizards, turtles, butterflies, waterfalls, awesome rock formations, great views of Branson and Lake Taneycomo. Beautiful hike! It is very wet & muddy in some spots, so I would be extra attentive if kids were going. Waterproof hiking shoes are a must. It will definitely get your heart pumping when you turn back & go up the stairs!

Beautiful February hike. Was surprised to see several boats on the water. The stairs got me huffing and puffing on the way up.

Great trail! We loved it! Some beautiful sights and lots of rest stops. A lot of maintained trail and some very off trails too for the more adventurous. Took our little dogs and had a great time! Something for everyone here!

Whoa. “Nature area” seems to understate what is here. One of the more rugged trails we have hiked as a family (kids 9 and 12.) Trail was mostly unmarked. Thank goodness for the app, which helped us to figure this place out. Would have been too much had the creek beds been flowing as we had to scramble over those to find our way.

Great trail with very cool old homestead and a few nice caves. Trail is semi overgrown with a lot of foliage but definitely well traveled and easy to follow. Stairs are a good workout.

This is one of several short hikes in a peaceful surrounding area (Lakeside Forest) near the Branson strip. I completed all of the trails in a little over a couple of hours. There was a lot of wildlife including squirrels, birds, lizards, a turtle, and two whitetail deer. It was completely shaded and the bugs were not a problem. This trail was easily marked with blue color-coded markers located approximately every tenth of a mile.
