Love this trail. Very pretty. Easy enough to do while baby-wearing.

This is an easy trail for those who want to get into hiking. The scenery is really on the back end. There are other trails nearby like Hickory Grove.

Seniors - I'm nearly 71, 30 lbs overweight, and not in super condition. I walked this trail in about 30 minutes. I would rate this trail as Easy+ for seniors. The first half of the trail is mostly ascending with a few short, but steep, inclines. Also some steps and boulder/rock dodging in the trail. The sloping down areas have a loose surface, so shoes with good gripping soles are best. It's a pretty walk and has interesting rock formations along the way. Not a boring little walk at all! I wanted to walk about an hour, so walked across the parking lot and did 15 min in and 15 back to get my hour in.

Very nice trail with plenty of things to see and plenty of waypoints to sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of nature in the woods.

Pretty quick easy trail I particularly enjoyed the rock formations there were interesting to walk through.

Fun trail with lots of rock outcroppings. Entire pathway was graveled. One or two places that are not handicap passable. Great place for kids to explore. Only negative was that we went in June and there was no water in the trail.

Nice trail. Was easy enough that my children traveled through it without any worries, although just enough terrain to make it fun. Well spent 1.5 hours out of the house.

Weaving though the limestone out croppings, almost whimsical with their mossy covering, was my favorite part of this trail. Good opportunity to see wildlife - lots of birds and squirrels, but also saw a turkey and a deer on my hike. I would rate the difficulty moderate as there were a couple moderate inclines, stairs, and some areas with slick rocks. The trail head is best reached by driving past the nature center, the road will end in a parking lot.

Came with my dog & there were about 3 or 4 signs that said no pets (aside from service animals) so if you’re wanting to use this trail don’t bring your pets

Getting ready for backpacking trip so hiked this one today w/35lb pack & gear. Trail is well groomed w/minor elevation changes through medium/dense forests. A couple areas where trail is rocky but not too challenging.
Tick/mosquito repellent highly recommended.
If you're looking for a leisurely hike through the forest this one is worth it.

This is a good easy hike with some really fun rock formations. Combine it with the other two trails at Burr Oak for a longer, more enjoyable afternoon of hiking.

My husband and I just hiked this trail today with our three kiddos (3, 2, and 9 months). It reminded us of hiking in NW Arkansas with less elevation change. This is a beautiful trail, well maintained and marked, and diverse terrain for this area. We loved it!
