This trail is on the road that once connected the town of Arrow Rock to the old river landing. Today it connects to the Lewis & Clark Trail of Discovery that continues to the Missouri River.

Does take you to the river on an old RR trail. Arrow rock has nice historic sites, nice Visitor Center and SP campgrounds.

This short hike features several historic signs telling the story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and explaining the importance of the River Landing to the development of Arrow Rock. The Missouri River shifted its course away from the road and landing in the early 1800s, leaving the town "high and dry."
