Great trail, fishing and camping. Wall Doxey s.p. is kind of run down. I WOULD camp here, not bad. Just needs some loving be an outstanding place.

I thought the trail was great! It’s a loop around the lake & very pretty & serene. My dogs loved it. It’s not difficult by any means, but a great trail to get outside & walk.

Nice short hike but park has been neglected. Bathrooms were padlocked, campsites were overgrown, piers rickety and missing boards. Used to be much nicer.

Great State Park and a nice easy trail to go on. We took our three kids and they loved it.

This is a lonely trail. Gives an eerie feeling of old days long forgotten. Not a whole lot to the trail, just a path around a lake. You climb up on hill of little consequence. The trail (and the park in general) is in need of repair and some tlc. Trail markers are also nonexistent and it was hard to tell which way to go sometimes. The bridge was missing several planks. Overall it’s an okay day hike from Memphis or surrounding areas.

Circumnavigates spring-fed Spring Lake. A few hilly areas, but mostly flat terrain. Everything in this park seems to need some maintenance, including the trail constructions (bridges, benches, steps, etc.). Lake provides excellent bird viewing.

Camping

Wall Doxie Holly Springs, MS Campgrounds 1-49 are wooded and private. And are located in the lower grounds. Campgrounds 50-67 are in the upper point near the entrance . Not private and not wooded . But the restrooms / showers are a little better. I would only recommend the campgrounds if you have full facility's in your camper

This was a really fun hike. We took a large group of around 30 people of all ages and it was a blast. Some of the trails were non obvious but for the most part it was in pretty good condition. Great little state park as well. Worth a trip. Also has fishing and camping here.

Started out flat but near the lake, the the fun begins. I experienced a dirt, mud, Moss mix with a lot of steep grade Hills and short hops. I would not put this under easy, but it was more beautiful than anything.

Hiked this on a cold, very nice January day. Walked around the lake and saw at least ten different waterfowl. Was a good hike.

It's a nice short easy hike and one of the only kept trails in the area. Might want to bring some bug spray and a nice stick to clear out the occasional spider web
