Wall Doxey Trail is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Waterford, Mississippi that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Great trail, fishing and camping. Wall Doxey s.p. is kind of run down. I WOULD camp here, not bad. Just needs some loving be an outstanding place.
Awesome trail. Not clearly marked but very easy to follow. Beautiful views of the lake!
This is a lonely trail. Gives an eerie feeling of old days long forgotten. Not a whole lot to the trail, just a path around a lake. You climb up on hill of little consequence. The trail (and the park in general) is in need of repair and some tlc. Trail markers are also nonexistent and it was hard to tell which way to go sometimes. The bridge was missing several planks. Overall it’s an okay day hike from Memphis or surrounding areas.
Wall Doxie Holly Springs, MS Campgrounds 1-49 are wooded and private. And are located in the lower grounds. Campgrounds 50-67 are in the upper point near the entrance . Not private and not wooded . But the restrooms / showers are a little better. I would only recommend the campgrounds if you have full facility's in your camper
This was a really fun hike. We took a large group of around 30 people of all ages and it was a blast. Some of the trails were non obvious but for the most part it was in pretty good condition. Great little state park as well. Worth a trip. Also has fishing and camping here.
