Bad news, trail is closed for the season. Due big attack of pine beetle there is a danger of falling trees.

I am a beginner hiker and this was a perfect trail for me. The only downside was that the base camp was closed for the season so the water and bathrooms were locked up and basecamp 1 and 2. definitely worth doing this trail though!

It is a clearly marked and wide open horse trail with broad lanes and a few wet spots. Shaded and easy to use. A good introductory trail for young kids.
