Nice trail. Taking the advice of other reviews, I started at the bottom and hiked up to the lookout instead of driving up to the trail head. Not having exercised in a good while it was more moderate than easy but still doable.

This is a hidden little gem, nice trail in good shape and about as close to a mountain as you’ll get in Mississippi.

Nice trail. I took my dog with me and she loved it! Parked at trailhead and rather than hiking on the road to return to the vehicle, we went back on the trail.

I ONLY give it 4 stars due to the fact of so much of the 'trail' being the actual roadway. So we parked at the top of the lookout and entered the trail there and came out at the camping area and walked the roadway back uphill until we reached the picnic benches and re-entered the trail at that location and walked it back to the lookout point parking area. Next time we will park at the lookout area and do an 'in and out' hike from there. Other than that, this is a very quiet, scenic, easy trail.

1/2 mile loop trail with a 1/2 trail that connects to the campground.

The Little Mountain Trail is located in the Jeff Busby State Park off of the Natchez Trace. It was a fun little trail, well maintained and easy to follow. My wife and I took our dogs with us and they enjoyed the walk. We parked at the top and hiked down and back. It was pretty quiet and we only saw a few other people while we were there. It was a relatively easy trail with only a few sections of uphill. There are a few benches on the trail and the rest of the facility seemed nice as well.
