(11/25/2020) My wife and I really enjoyed hiking this trail, is a lot more technical than I thought. We hiked clockwise and finish up with a little lunch by the river. The "outcroppings" are impressive for Mississippi, but, these *are* the Appalachain foothills. It took us about two hours to hike, keep in mind my wife and I hike for the scenery and not to hurry up and finish. The trail is well marked, maintained and fairly easy to follow. The water falls are small and mostly trickle water. The entrence bridge is a nice impressive way to start the trail. I would suggest this hike for almost anyone except small kids.

Very nice, well marked and well traveled trail. Several trees down but nothing that could not be easily stepped over.

Easy, fun trail for the family. My four year old had no trouble. Crowded as usual, but it was expected on such a pretty day.

We had a great time. A lot of interesting rock formations and beautiful scenery. We had family and friends with 6 kids ranging from 4 to 12 and they were able to walk the whole thing with some help. Great hike. We ended up showing 2.3 miles when it was done.

This was a great trail. It had some slightly difficult spots but there are lots of unique sights and places to rest. Met some interesting people on the trail. It was a workout! Note: on the MDWFP map of Tishomingo State Park, this trail is #7, Outcroppings Trail, and loops beginning and ending at the Swinging Bridge. It is 2 miles long. There is a nearby trail called Bear Creek Trail (#6) that is 1.5 miles long and does not loop; it ends at the Pioneer Cabin.

Really had a blast on this trail. It was more of a challenge than I expected. Pretty well marked for most of it, toward the end (if you take the clockwise route and the longer loop) we started to doubt which way we had gone.

The trail was great. There is so much to see. The trail is moderate, because of some of the difficult footings to move forward. It should not be too hard for most people. There are plenty of outcroppings and caves to enjoy. The waterfall was dry. I am not surprised. It would be more enjoyable to see in the Spring. We will definitely come back.

It's a Rocky trail with a waterfall shower at one part of it that's a great place to cool off. Streams cross occasionally for a nice cool drink if you're into that. $4 for the park. several other trails too.

This is a BEAUTIFUL trail! It is kid friendly and dogs loved it!! We took a wrong turn on the way back and missed about a mile worth of trail! But it was well worth the drive! Shaded the whole way by wonderful trees! Pay attention if you don’t have a map for the waterfall! Will definitely be back to do this trail with my family!! It was 4 dollars to park but that is a all day pass! Well worth it! They take cash or credit!

I was looking for a nice solo Mother’s Day trip with a bit of water and rock and I found it in spades. I crossed the swinging bridge, did the Outcrop Loop, recrossed the bridge, did a hard left and did the CC Loop as well. The rock staircase was delightful. Well worth the road trip.
