Didn't do the whole loop but covered a few of the trails by the river and lake. Great location, well-looked after trails. And because of the camp sites, a few handy stops for water too.

I walked the prairie and wet land trails which were beautiful and serene. I imagine that if you're a bird watcher this would be a great spot since there seem to so many.

I can't speak to the trails by the river but the prairie and wet land trails (which is the majority of the park) made for a nice few hours. The paths are marked and well kept for grass and dirt trails.

This used to be a favorite local hike but it's just overused and the lake and beach are closer to a flash mob. It's just too many thing to too many people. I would rather drive another hour to Wild River SP.

This is also a great park to ski at during winter. Trails are groomed well, and there's plenty of mileage for most people.

Very picturesque trail along the river. Tall close pines frame the river trail with a soft flat pine needle path.

Very wide earth packed/grass trails. Gentle rolling hills mostly prairie landscape. Good views.

Loved this trail. I'm partial to bluffs and rivers though. The prairie section is good too, with nicely kept trails. The scenery is fantastic, bring a camera. The park itself isn't too crowded and most of the time you are the only one on the trail.

Love this park!!! It is absolutely beautiful. If you're in the area, especially on a sunny summer day, I totally recommend it.
