Western Waterfront Trail is a 3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near West Duluth, Minnesota that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

underrated Duluth trail. nobody from out east really knows it exists or uses it. nicely maintained, lots of birds if you are into bird watching, would be a fun place to run. Views of Lake Superior and the bay. Not crowded.

edit:duluth parks is planning on putting in a parking lot nearby and "cleaning up" west end. It was said they would damage much of the bird habitat...
