This out and back trail has 360 degree views of prairie. Dominated by Bluestem native grasses and wildflowers, it gives you an idea of what the prairie used to look like. Few visitors to this new trail makes it seem like you are in a prairie wilderness. A little over a mile in length in each direction, this new trail runs along the highest points so that you have views for miles. No trees just grass and in the distance farms and farm fields.

This point to point trail goes along the spine of a hill so that you have 360 degree views in all directions. Bluestem prairie grass and wildflowers are the dominant vegetation while quartzite rock also dot the landscape. Very little used trail with lots of solitude. Trail has information kiosks which gives some detailed information on this special area on each end next to small grass parking area. I felt as though I was in a 'Prairie Wilderness' @backpackerneil
