We did 1.5 miles our and back (3 miles total) from the W Castle Danger Rd. to the Red Pine Overlook! Challenging inclines in some sections, but overall a nice little section of the SHT!

Spring hike from SHT Castle Danger entry point to the Gooseberry State Park group campsite. The Castle Danger half of the trail was very muddy due to spring melt and rain, slowing down the pace of the hike.
