Red River of the North Trail is a 4.9 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Moorhead, Minnesota that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October.
I run on the 'off road biking' trails on the edge of the river. I start on one side of the park, then run to as far as the dirt paths take me and retrace my steps back. It's a nice run if you hate running on tar/ cement. It's also nice to be in the trees by the river during Fall.
