This is a beautiful trail with many kinds of wildflowers along a sleepy creek that leads to a very secluded waterfall. The narrow creek and Quartzite rock make this a rock hopper's dream to get to the other side to investigate the view from a different angle. A short easy hike that leads to a secluded waterfall cascading over quartzite rock make this a great hike. The native grasses and wildflower help to keep your mind busy making the hike seem shorter. At less than a mile with very little elevation change it's a hike most everyone can enjoy.

Mowed prairie grass trail with a small "cascading" waterfall about half way through. Was led by a cute black and white Australian shepherd farm dog. Don't expect a lot but perhaps bring a journal and stop and enjoy the solitude for a moment.

peace and Solitude at the waterfall area. Go in the morning where you can handle the no shade hike and enjoy the waterfall area without too many bugs. Lots of birds singing

Lots of ticks, trail is easy to follow. Grass is long on the trail and its hard to see holes in the ground. The waterfall is small, but decent.

The trail looked promising and we were able to take a lot of nice bird pictures in the Prarie leading up to the trail head. We were unable to go down the trail (June 12, 2016) because within 5 minutes of getting out of the car 2 of the 4 people in my party had ticks on their legs. We would try this trail again outside of tick season.

This short trail is now one of my local favorites. Very low effort to get to the reward of a tranquil setting of the waterfalls. On the way a very wide variety of wildflowers will be your companions. @backpackerneil
