Wonderful easy trail between the Minnehaha Falls and Mississippi River. Also very close by is great off-leash dog park.

Super nice hike with a lot of lush green tall trees, on the Mississippi River with a sparkling refreshing waterfall! The food stop “Se salt” had amazing seafood!

This is a fun place to go viewing with friends and family members. If you go on the trail below the falls, there is a nice trail with wooden walkways over the marshy parts. The trail is quite easy, but the rolling falls and the river is beautiful for the entire hike.

Beautiful park with easy trails. Usually overcrowded on weekends.

The trail is beautiful and very green. It smells very fresh and the river that goes along the trail adds a very nice aesthetic affect. There are many places to take photos. There is a park prior to the trial that is very big and offers a great place to have a picnic. All in all, very highly recommend.

The steps are all still blocked off, so we only walked around the upper area. It's a beautiful scene though!

This is an easy loop for sure. It's great when there's lots of water in Minnehaha creek as the falls are impressive then. I've only seen it then in photos, not in person. You walk to the end where the confluence of the creek meets the mighty Mississippi. The day I was there the flow was pretty low over the falls. But it was a nice walk in the fall and worth doing.

Kids (5, 8, 13) loved this trail! Not too hard for the little guys, but long enough to wear them out ;) Well-maintained, lots of benches for resting, trash cans along the trail.

This is one of my favorites to do with or without kids. It's an easy loop with lots of views of the creek and eventually the Mississippi. The only downside is it's often crowded. But worth the walk anyway. Falls are beautiful.

I love this trail. You get river shore, waterfalls, a restaurant, historical sites - it literally has everything. If you're tempted to turn around at the gum tree, don't! Only downfall of this park is how popular it is at ALL times of the day and week/weekend.

Great escape from the city-life. Lots of dog watching. But can get very crowded.

I absolutely love this trail... it does get crowded sometimes, but with a 50 foot waterfall heading the trail, it is definitely a good visit. I bring visiting family here all the time.

Crowded with a bunch of hooligan teenagers.

Great hiking trail for walking or running possibly an eagle sighting, clean and open, best time to go is in the fall or winter and if you go during the winter, you can walk behind the waterfall, definitely worth the time.
