We hiked this on a beautiful December morning. It was about 35 degrees out. The trails were snow covered but had been previously groomed so it was not cumbersome. The views were fantastic as you walk on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. We added to the hike with additional trails and ended up with just over 4 miles. We started and finished at the picnic area.

Ran this loop last weekend when it hit 100! Challenge uphill jog first 1/2, but gorgeous and easier second 1/2. Great run, beautiful trail.

Lots of built in stairs and a narrower trail makes for an interesting and the right amount of challenging hike
