Parking is across road from trailhead. Entrance had gorgeous wildflowers in July. beginning of trail is easy and maintained with chipped wood. great views of the river. Further up trail is steep with views of the ravine and several falls. Some sections are moderate. We went as far as the bridge. leas than 1 mile. Connects to Superior trail. lots of fun.

A beautiful well groomed trail and amazing scenery. Worked well for adults and kids ages 2-5.

This was an awesome hike for winter, if you walked inside the actual gorge. The river is mostly frozen over and provides a completely different kind of hike. It wasn’t a hard hike, but wasn’t for the faint of heart as sometimes as you could see the water flowing under the ice. Wearing ice cleats helped a lot too.

Easy and beautiful. I need to bring my Chacos next time, definitely wished I could have hiked in the gorge/river.

Nice quick hike for families with kids. Not many river views, but can always hear water, which is nice. Well maintained trail.

My wife and I enjoyed this very calm trail. You are next to the Kadunce River the entire time. There are nice little spots off of the trail where you can take in a cool view of the cliffs, water, and the fall trees. We even saw a little cave that had a really cool campfire at the mouth.

Go to the shoreline of superior and start walking from the mouth of the stream. There are 6 waterfalls within a little over a mile that are great fun to climb.

This becomes a very difficult adventure in the spring due to "healthy waterfalls".

The locals told us to climb this trail thru the river! We started up it - climbed several waterfalls! So much fun!!! You will be wet the entire time!
