Loved loved loved all the steep inclines! Hated hated hated all the bugs! Worse bugs I’ve ever experienced on a hike. But I did see a baby turtle! That was neat. And i was the only person out there. That was nice too!

Never been more happy to finish a hike. I loved the hills/elevation gain. I didn’t love that many paths were closed, flooded, too overgrown, bugs were outrageous.

This is a great trail for a good day hike. There are a few muddy spots, but there are either side trails or logs that you can use to cross the muddy spots. There are also some good hills and declines during the hike and it gets your heart going. Definitely recommend if you live nearby!

Some parts are very wet, but there are small paths through the trees around most of the bogs. Buggy and overgrown by mid summer. Great hills for training hikes and trail running. Most sections are ski trails in winter, so they’re wide enough to stay socially distant while passing other hikers. Though this part of the park is sparsely used due to all the hills.

muddy in the low spots, and quite busy! most people were good on leaving space, others were oblivious.

Great hilly climb, dried leaves are obscuring some trip hazards, watch your step! A bit buggy in the low sections by the lake, but great hike overall!

Running

The rolling never stops! Surprising amount of elevation, with the majority in the middle 2.5 miles.

Up and down and up and down...great training hike. Some of the ups were as steep as a staircase. Most were short on this glaciated terrain. Muddy at the bottom of the hills, but it was a rainy snowy week.
