multiple loops range from .5 miles to 2.5 miles or do them all for just under 5 miles Trail heads begin at parking lot of Wolcott Mill Metro park. You walk through forest, fields, and swampland. Much of the trail system follows the rivers and streams that run through the park. Mostly flat land with a few small inclines. Forest land has plenty of wildlife. Great for walking dogs or just going for a hike.

Great trails! My dogs love going for hikes here, it is very quiet and pretty. My only compliant is they close the gate to the parking lot very early, so if you want to go for a walk after work we park on the road.

The presentation is nice but once you get to the trail you realize there’s nothing really to see, kind of a let down

In the flat landscape of Eastern Michigan, it’s always nice to find any change in altitude, even if just a few dozen feet, like in this two-mile loop and the other shorter trails in the woods along the water. The trail was well-marked by posts and footfalls despite a few days and inches of snow. This wander through the trees was a pretty and quiet hour and an easy walk.

A truly hidden gem. High banks along the Clinton River and forest. Super scenic and no one is ever there.

Took the 2 mile hike in early April and the second half of the trail was a muddy mess. About a 1/4 mile or so to the end of the trail, it was actually unpassable - looked like a lake and couldn't even see a trail anymore. Fortunately we could see the road from there and were able to cut through the woods to get back to the road.

Beautiful trail running. Went 4 miles total, had to circle around and repeat parts of it but I'd come here again
