multiple loops range from .5 miles to 2.5 miles or do them all for just under 5 miles Trail heads begin at parking lot of Wolcott Mill Metro park. You walk through forest, fields, and swampland. Much of the trail system follows the rivers and streams that run through the park. Mostly flat land with a few small inclines. Forest land has plenty of wildlife. Great for walking dogs or just going for a hike.

I like this trail because there was very little traffic. Also a fan of it being in the woods and away from roads. Rare in lower Michigan. Definitely flat and easy so not for you if you are looking for elevation gains. It is poorly marked but you can’t really get lost if you stay on the trail. Pretty scenery I will be revisiting!

Beautiful trails in the fall. I loved the Mother Nature trail because you saw a lot of wildlife and had a water side walk. One of my new favorite trails

My wife and I really liked this Trail. The scenery was great, much of the trail was along the North Branch of the Clinton River followed by different wooded and meadow views. The boardwalks were safe and well maintained.

First time running at this park. Trails weren’t bad for running. Mostly grass trails from what I saw during my 3 mile run. Trails could be marked better, it was easy to get turned around.

Great trails! My dogs love going for hikes here, it is very quiet and pretty. My only compliant is they close the gate to the parking lot very early, so if you want to go for a walk after work we park on the road.

The presentation is nice but once you get to the trail you realize there’s nothing really to see, kind of a let down

In the flat landscape of Eastern Michigan, it’s always nice to find any change in altitude, even if just a few dozen feet, like in this two-mile loop and the other shorter trails in the woods along the water. The trail was well-marked by posts and footfalls despite a few days and inches of snow. This wander through the trees was a pretty and quiet hour and an easy walk.

A truly hidden gem. High banks along the Clinton River and forest. Super scenic and no one is ever there.

Took the 2 mile hike in early April and the second half of the trail was a muddy mess. About a 1/4 mile or so to the end of the trail, it was actually unpassable - looked like a lake and couldn't even see a trail anymore. Fortunately we could see the road from there and were able to cut through the woods to get back to the road.
