The trail was nice and quick and well maintained. It was nice to get out to Whitefish Bay from the museum and really put into perspective what you saw at the museum. Our kids went with us and they loved getting out to a more secluded part of the beach (most people stayed by the beach in front of the museum) and look for rocks and watch the waves.
Nice exhibits. The weather changed from sunny to rain and back..........several times.
Great views of Lake Superior located opposite side of parking lot from lighthouse. Opportunity to walk out on beach and learn some neat nature facts. Parking lot and lighthouse/museum were pretty crowded on Sunday when we were there but the nature trails were not bad.
